Morgan Carroll
Morgan Lenore Carroll (born November 24, 1971) is an American politician from Colorado. A Democrat, Carroll has represented the state's 29th senate district since 2009. Carroll served as president of the state senate from 2013-2014 and as minority leader in 2015.〔 Carroll stepped down as minority leader in July 2015. In addition to her legislative work, Carroll also works for the Law Firm of Bachus & Schanker.〔
Carroll graduated from Boulder High School in 1990, from the University of Colorado Denver in 1996, and from the University of Colorado Law School in 2000.〔 Carroll served in the Colorado House of Representatives from 2005 to 2008.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.senmorgancarroll.com/about/ )〕 Carroll's father, John Carroll, served in the Colorado Legislature between 1964 and 1974.〔
Carroll is running for the 2016 Democratic nomination to face Congressman Mike Coffman, the Republican incumbent in Colorado's 6th congressional district. After launching her campaign, Carroll was endorsed by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper.〔
